Eugene “Gene” Lowery, 89, a resident of Granville County passed away, Monday 26, 2016 at his home.
A native of Johnson County, Illinois, he was the son of the late Edgar and Mary M. Lowery. He was of the protestant faith and owned restaurants most of his life.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years, Ann Raines Lowery of the home; a daughter, Gina Lowery of Oxford; a son, Gary Lowery (Jill) of Springfield, Illinois; three brothers, Joel Lowery, James Lowery and Ova Lowery, Jr.; four grandchildren, Carter Lowery, Kennedy Parker Williams (Sed), Drew Lowery, Trevor Parker and one great grandson, Seth Williams.
